The Katherine Gorge is another hot destination for keen hikers. There are over 40kms of trails which track the pristine river and follow along the top of the sheer cliff faces.

However, we wanted to do something a little different this time. We swapped our hiking boots for paddles and took to the river in Kayaks. However the river is full of Freshwater Crocodiles. The Visitor Centre advises that they are 99% certain you won't have any trouble with them, but enter at your own risk......
