Queues and snow! CORONET PEAK CHAOS | The New Zealand Collection

The 2022 Ski season in NZ was the first one back open after the #covid19 lockdowns. As you can imagine it was quite packed with tourists. Staffing shortages were also effecting operation of the entire town. So it was a double whammy with bulk tourists and no staff = massive lines / queues. Anyway, this isn't a glamorous video of epic skiing and terrain, but more an actual view into what it was like being amongst the crowds, lines and blizzards.

Sure it wasn't amazing being in queues for 2 hours at some stages, but hey we got to get back on the slopes and the staff doing their thing while shorthanded were still amazing! Still can't beat that 😎
